Porto de Recreio da Calheta

The marina of Calheta, about 16 nautical miles from Funchal, right beside the sand beach. It has 337 berths for boats from 6 to 25 m with a maximum draught of 3.5 m, plus 40 places for jet-skis. On site: fuel station (diesel and 95 unleaded), a launching ramp, covered parking, a wash area, a repair area for small craft, a crane and a waste-water pump. Restaurants, bars, a souvenir shop and maritime tourism companies line the basin.
