Miradouro de São Sebastião

On Caminho de São Sebastião, at the top of the rock overlooking the town of Ribeira Brava, this viewpoint shows almost the whole parish lying in its valley, then the coast: eastwards the shoreline of Quinta Grande and Campanário (Câmara de Lobos) with Fajã dos Padres, westwards Lugar de Baixo and, beyond, the rocky point of Ponta do Sol running into the sea. The sea dominates on both sides. In town, the Madeira Ethnographic Museum and the São Bento fort round off the stop.
