Miradouro do Pico (Porto Moniz)

On top of a cliff, at the end of Caminho do Pico — an old royal road that was for a long time the only link, for people and goods, between the villages of the municipality — this high lookout takes in the rugged shape of the north coast, the clear sea and the picturesque outline of the town of Porto Moniz. A good starting point for the nearby trails and the Laurissilva.
