Complexo Balnear da Foz da Ribeira do Faial

At the mouth of the Ribeira do Faial, in Santana: a small pebble beach with a natural pool, in a rare geological setting — a prismatic jointing (basalt columns) born of lava flows, right beside it. The complex lines up a sand pitch fit for football, handball and beach volleyball championships, a multi-sports hall, a children's seawater pool, a playground, a restaurant, adapted toilets, first aid and a large sun deck; a karting track next door.
