Funchal's best-known bathing complex, almost a century old, on the seafront promenade amid a garden: a large sunbathing deck, two seawater pools including one for children, sea access, a supervised beach with first aid, parasol and lounger hire, Wi-Fi, a bar, a diving centre and a shop. Accessible to all — lifts, ramps and amphibious chairs — and open all year. It opens daily 8:30–20:00 from 1 June to 30 September.
