Miradouro do Lombo da Quinta

At 456 m above sea level, in the parish of São Gonçalo, on the Estrada Regional 102 (Boa Nova). A plunging view over Funchal's natural amphitheatre, its bay and the ships entering or leaving the port, with the mosaic of the city climbing the hillside. Nearby are Palheiro Golf, a 6,000 m course designed by the architect Cabell B. Robinson in 1993, and the Palheiro gardens, home to trees more than 200 years old.
