    Miradouro de São Cristóvão

    On one of the highest slopes of Boaventura, in the municipality of São Vicente, the São Cristóvão viewpoint overlooks the Boaventura valley, its lush farming terraces and the Atlantic to the horizon; in the distance you can make out Arco de São Jorge on the irregular outline of the north coast. A restaurant of the same name stands next to it.

    Miradouro da Boca das Voltas

    Above São Jorge, in the parish of Boaventura: a secluded, grassy spot surrounded by native Laurissilva. The view reaches Falcas, Achada da Madeira and Lombo do Urzal, with houses scattered through the forest, and, further off, Boaventura and the mouth of Ribeira do Porco, where a small pebble beach meets very clear water.
